DESCRIPTION:

The original score for the film was composed by Harald Kloser and Thomas Wander. Singer Adam Lambert from American Idol contributed a song for the film called “Time for Miracles” and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity in an interview with MTV. The film’s soundtracks consist of 24 tracks, which also includes the song “Fades Like a Photograph” by Filter and another song called “It’s Not The End of The World”, written by Kloser and Wander.

DESCRIPTION:

2012 is a 2009 action film-disaster film directed by Roland Emmerich. The film has an ensemble cast, including John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson. The film will be distributed by Columbia Pictures. Filming began in August 2008 in Vancouver.

The doomsday warning of legendary prophet Nostradamus is placed in a terrifyingly modern context as documentary filmmakers speculate just what will happen on that fateful date of December 21, 2012. Nostradamus wasn’t the only prophet to call attention to this oft-debated date; the ancient Mayans too predicted that the planet would undergo a profound transformation in the final days of the year 2012. But what exactly does fate have in store for mankind on the day many call the end? Will we be wiped out by a massive comet crashing into Earth, fall victim to a global environmental disaster, or perhaps fall victim to our own destructive technology in an Armageddon-like clash of civilizations? Perhaps it won’t be anything destructive at all, but a kind of subtle transformation in consciousness.
